Charity Auctioneer/MC

Hello, I’m Matt, a seasoned charity auctioneer, and here’s my story. I began my journey in auctioneering in 2009 when I was invited to a gala for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, an organization close to my heart, as my son was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at birth. A no-show auctioneer left a void, and I stepped in. My background in hosting TV shows and my genuine love for people allowed me to connect with the crowd, helping raise more money than any prior auction. The success led to more opportunities, with organizations like the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation seeking my services.

What makes my auctioneering unique is my ability to create an emotional connection with the audience, leading to higher donations. One memorable event was with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, where I turned a 10-year-old girl into the superstar of the night—this emotional moment spurred her grandfather to donate over $100,000. Moments like this, where I can facilitate substantial donations for noble causes, make my work rewarding.

I’ve worked with major organizations such as Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, JDRF, Susan G. Komen, Feeding America, and Angel Flight, as well as renowned sports teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and Arizona Cardinals. The joy of bringing people together and using that unity to support incredible causes is what keeps me passionate about my work.
